HULL — Chief John Dunn reports that the Hull Police Department arrested and charged a man with selling fentanyl after officers executed a search warrant Tuesday night.
JUSTIN O’NEILL, AGE 32, OF HULL was charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute a Class A Drug. He is expected to be arraigned today in Hingham District Court.
On Tuesday, Sept. 8, Hull Police obtained a search warrant for O’NEILL’S apartment after receiving information that he was allegedly selling drugs.
At 6:20 p.m., Hull Police detectives, members of the Old Colony Police Anti-Crime Task Force, Norwell Police detectives and a NPD K-9 officer, executed a search warrant at 1177 Nantasket Ave., Apt. 2.
Officers located O’NEILL inside the apartment and observed him quickly reach his hand into his pocket. O’NEILL was ordered to take his hand out of his pocket and was detained. In searching his pockets officers located and seized a plastic bag with approximately 6 grams of fentanyl and $580.
In searching the apartment, officers also seized a digital scale, plastic baggies and multiple cell phones.
O’NEILL was placed under arrested and taken to the Hull Police Department to be booked.
These are allegations. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
