HULL — Chief John Dunn reports that the Hull Police Department charged three in connection to vandalism at Fort Revere Park this weekend.
KYLIE FERREIRA, AGE 20, OF COHASSET, and MATTHEW FERREIRA, AGE 18, OF COHASSET were each arrested and charged with Tagging Property and Trespassing.
A 17-YEAR-OLD FEMALE will also be summonsed to court at a later date on charges of Tagging Property and Trespassing.
On Friday, Aug. 25 at 10:16 p.m., a Hull Police officer was conducting a directed patrol at Fort Revere Park. Upon arrival, the officer located an unoccupied 2013 Volvo in the parking lot. The officer activated the cruiser’s load speaker, announced that the park was closed, and instructed any park occupants to return to their vehicles.
Three individuals, later determined to be KYLIE FERREIRA, MATTHEW FERREIRA, and the JUVENILE FEMALE, exited the park and began walking toward the Volvo.
Through a subsequent on-scene investigation, it was determined that the individuals possessed a spray paint can and had allegedly spray-painted several areas of the forts. Officers also located fresh paint on the forts.
KYLIE FERREIRA and MATTHEW FERREIRA were placed under arrest at the scene and booked at the Hull Police Station. Both were scheduled to be arraigned on Monday in Hingham District Court.
The JUVENILE was released at the scene and will be summonsed to Hingham District Court at a later date.
These are allegations. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
