Chief John E. Dunn reports that the Hull Police Department has arrested two women who allegedly broke into a motor vehicle on Monday morning.
MELODY PREVOST, AGE 30, and COURTNEY MORAHAN, AGE 26, both of WEYMOUTH were each charged with Breaking and Entering into a Motor Vehicle.
PREVOST was also arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Quincy District Court.
PREVOST and MORAHAN were arraigned at Hingham District Court on Monday, Nov. 1.
On Monday, Nov. 1 at approximately 5:40 a.m., Hull Police responded to a report of a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle in progress on George Washington Boulevard. A witness reported seeing two female suspects allegedly rummaging through the vehicle.
The witness reported that they told the suspects to return everything they took before the two suspects allegedly fled toward the lagoon on George Washington Boulevard.
Officers began searching the area and located two individuals, later identified as PREVOST and MORAHAN, in the area of the lagoon matching the description previously given to police. PREVOST and MORAHAN were taken into custody without incident.

Hul Police urge residents to always lock and secure their vehicles. Additional safety tips, courtesy the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, include the following:
- Take your keys, don’t leave them in your vehicle.
- Close and lock all windows.
- Park in well-lit areas, preferably a garage, if possible.
- Never leave valuables in your vehicle, and if you do, make sure they are out of sight.
